RESPONSIBILITIES:

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

  • Develop, maintain and execute staging/kitting/configuration strategies and programs for cellular routers for hardware and software (Inseego, Cradlepoint, Peplink, Digi, InHand, Teltonika, Netgear)
  • Provide customer-facing assistance to inside and outside sales when working on opportunities for cellular routers.
  • Maintain internal knowledge base of Router Price books, Data Sheets, and collaborate with Marketing to develop promotions and offers for cellular routers.
  • Customer-facing presentations and training on specific Routers/Use Cases and also conduct Cellular Router Cloud Management Systems demos.
  • Preferred candidate would be able to also handle direct sales leads from start to finish as that would provide additional income in the form of commissions on sales.
  • Work with company leadership to support Professional Install process/procedures and manage Project Coordinators.
  • Work with company leadership to support Managed Helpdesk and Monitoring solutions for customers that are looking for a fully managed cellular router solution.

 

MINIMUM QUALITIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science
  • Three (3) years of experience in cellular end to end testing.
  • Solid Understanding of mobile telecom concepts based on 3GPP standards and protocols, and knowledge of basic call flows in 3G, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G
  • TCP/IP model Layer 2-3 Ethernet/VLAN/TCP/IP understanding
  • Background in protocols such as SIP, ISUP, MAP, CAP, GTP, Diameter
  • Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging
  • Experience in Linux

  • Shipping & Receiving
  • Inventory Management
  • Receiving product (pallets or box shipments)
  • Connecting devices to testing software to test functionality

  • Scanning products into inventory as part of receiving process

 

SKILLS NEEDED FOR THE JOB:

  • Receiving cell phones/Devices updating firmware
  • Loading firmware/software onto cell phones/devices on a project basis
  • Testing cell phone/device functions
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and logistics
  • Attention to detail when scanning/receiving products for inbound or outbound shipments
  • Experience driving a forklift is a plus (but not required)
  • Configure, Kit, Pack & Ship Orders
  • Reliability is extremely important.
  • Experience working with electronics is a plus. We provide on-the-job training, but good computer skills such as Microsoft Excel are very helpful.
  • Must be able to pass background check.
  • Forklift experience

Converge IoT is looking for the right individuals to join our organization as Inside Sales. The position will be an in-office position at our Coral Springs, HQ. Remote work is not an option for this position.

The role would be calling on new customers, existing customers, tradeshow leads, purchased telemarketing lists, carrier sales reps and the like to make sales, set appointments, grow sales of existing customers.

We distribute several products such as 4G/5G Routers, and Augmented Reality Smart Glasses. We work directly with T-Mobile as a Distributor, and Verizon Wireless as a Co-Selling Partner.

If you have a background in technology products or working for a wireless carrier that is a benefit, but the most important skills are:

  • Reliable
  • Willing to make 40 phone calls per day
  • Enjoy prospecting and talking to clients on the phone
  • Motivated to make commissions (commissions are uncapped)
  • Eager to learn new products.
  • Looking for an opportunity with upward mobility
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Quotes) are a must

Converge IoT is looking for the right individuals to join our organization as a Sales Assistant. The position will be an in-office position at our Coral Springs, HQ. Remote work is not an option for this position.

 

The role would be to support our Sales Leaders with duties such as but not limited to:

  • Answering phones, greeting clients, or arranging meetings
  • Communicating with customers via phone, email or text to answer questions about the products or services
  • Making updates to PowerPoint presentations, Statements of Work, and the like
  • Entering sales data into our CRM
  • Creating sales reports
  • Maintaining client databases and updating customer contact information
  • Coordinating with vendors to track orders, ensure prompt shipment of goods, and confirm delivery dates
  • Coordinate with Marketing Team to be in the know on all email promotions and communications going out to carrier reps and customers
  • Scheduling appointments and arrangements associated with in-house meetings, remote road shows, tradeshows, and events
  • Assisting with the development of proposals and presentations to potential clients
  • Keeping track of customer records and contracts in order to manage accounts
  • Checking on Sales email boxes and replying to customers, vendors, and prospects

Compensation:

  • Range from $17 to $19 per hour base salary based on experience
  • 2% commission on the margins for sales that you support (expected to range from $12K to $25k per year)

RESPONSIBILITIES: How Will You Contribute to the Company?

  • Direct Sales to Verizon for Business and T-Mobile for Business Sales Representatives of non-stock cellular hardware, software, professional services, and solutions.
  • Examples of items you will be selling include: 5G Routers, 4G Routers, Mobile Device Management Software, 5G Hotspots, Cellular Cameras, Tablets, Handsets, Professional Services such as Professional Installation, and Managed Services for Routers and MDM Software.
  • You will ultimately be selling and quoting direct-to-end customers based on referrals you will receive from the Business Carrier reps for Verizon and T-Mobile.
  • You will also at times market directly to end customers based on our database of existing customers, as well as leads received online, leads that we meet at various industry tradeshows, and purchased direct marketing leads.
  • Prospecting will be done mostly via phone (outbound calls), email prospecting, Linkedin prospecting, and text messaging.
    Maintain internal knowledge base of Router Price books, Data Sheets, and collaborate with Marketing to develop promotions and offers for cellular routers.
  • Commissions will be earned on margin from direct sales of Hardware, Software, Professional Services as well as one-time commissions from carriers.
  • Candidates should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, and PowerPoint, as you will be sending out sales quotes, recording and tracking sales funnels and giving PowerPoint presentations on a daily basis.
  • Candidates should be highly organized to stay on top of prospecting, funnel, and details associated with start to completion sales activities.

 

MINIMUM QUALITIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree
  • 2 Years of Sales Experience
  • Outgoing and ready to prospect for business. You can earn a lot of commission in this role but it requires continuous daily outbound prospecting and follow up.
  • Experience with cellular devices such as Routers preferred.
  • Experience working for a major wireless carrier preferred.

Salary + Commission: $50k to 60k per year based on experience [1099 for first 60 – 90 days] Commissions on sales. At base quota for 1 year expected commissions would be $54,000. There is no cap on commissions, and it is possible to earn 6 figure commissions for successful Sales Account Executives.
